A transparency file published by SSPs and exchanges that lists every seller they work with, their seller ID, their name, and whether they are a direct seller or a reseller. Cross-referencing sellers.json against an ads.txt file is how you verify that the company selling you inventory has the publisher's permission to do so. The file exists specifically to make that check possible. Most buyers do not run it. The buyers who do find things the others miss.
