Ad tech glossary

Package

Technical definition

In AdCP, a specific advertising product within a media buy, with its own pricing and targeting. It maps to the line item in a traditional ad server.

The ADLINGO translation

The line item, renamed for agents. One media buy can hold several packages: a CTV package, a podcast package, a display package, each with its own price and targeting. If you've ever trafficked a campaign, you already get it.
